Welcome to the Juniors, the first year of Key Stage 2. This is an exciting transitional year with lots of fun topics, events and opportunities planned for the children.

In the Autumn term, our topic is History based, learning all about pre-history from the Stone Age to the Iron Age. We will also visit Cheddar Gorge to enhance and consolidate our learning. Year 3 and 4 lead our Harvest celebrations in school, raising money and awareness for our chosen charity at the same time. 

In the Spring term, our topic is Geography based, looking at the British Isles, Volcanoes and Earthquakes. We will also be swimming in the second half of the term as part of our PE lessons.

In the Summer term, we are learning all about the Ancient Greeks, weather and climate. We will also be taking part in Sports Day with the rest of the school and preparing for the transition to Year 4.
